This stunning collection belongs to Ken and Gail Searle of Vancouver Island BC. Ken and Gail are neighbours and good friends of Ted and Sharon Forbes who also have a single page of cars on this site. I really dont know if I could handle seeing both of these collections in one day. One thing that I do know.....is that I know where that rainbow ends now. It ends on the lower portion of Vancouver Island where the most treasured and the prettiest collections of 1950's Fords reside!
Thank You Ken and Gail for preserving these most distinguished examples of Class & Beauty!

1955 Glass-top Crown Victoria Our 1955 Glass-top Crown Victoria was brought from California by very dear friends of ours and stored by them for 22 years. When he decided that he was not going to do this project he agreed to sell it to us. We did the body off restoration and put all the options available in 1955 on this vehicle and have redone an original 312 motor. |

1956 Ford Fairlane Convertible Our 1956 Ford Fairlane Convertible lived in Zila Washington with it's original owner through a few husbands. She got rid of the husbands but kept the car. A man we are acquainted with purchased the car from her on the condition that she never see it again as it would be too hard on her. He stored the car in Vancouver B.C. and to our good fortune he sold it to us after realizing he was not able to restore it due to health issues. We restored this car body off, finishing the project in 2003. It has as many options as were available in that year and the restored 312 makes fabulous power and is a real treat to drive.

1956 Ford F-100 Truck This truck was purchased new by my wife's father and used in his business until he gave it to me to use in my business in the seventies. It had many incarnations over the years but in 1990 my son and I did a body off restoration. All the fenders were so rotted out that new ones were found in Arizona and all told there was not a lot of the original metal left after it was redi-stripped. It took a lot of metal repair and a lot of parts to put it back together again. It has a Camero clip in the front end and power steering a brakes. What a fun truck to drive. Not a squeak or rattle in it.

1956 Ford 2 Door Post When I was 18 I had a 1956 Ford 2 door post. I absolutely loved that car. In 2000 I acquired this project and took three years to re-do it. It has a 5 liter injected motor with a 5 speed standard transmission, power steering and brakes and power windows and seats. This is one fun hot rod to drive.

1934 Ford Grocery Getter! We have owned this car for 12 years. It was a tired old hotrod when we purchased it. We repowered it with a GM small block high horsepower, air conditioning, power windows custom leather interior and budnick wheels. It is a great driver and we have taken it to many fun car shows. Great Driver?....wheew.....I'll say!!!!!
