1959 Galaxie 2 dr hdtp
Steve Kading owns this beauty.
When I was 16 years old, my grandfather gave me the 1959 Galaxie 500 he bought new in 59.  At that time it was 5 years old and like new.  That one was a 4 door sedan in the Colonial White/Geranium color scheme.  I so wish I had kept that beautiful car.  But now, I have found the closest thing to it.  The pictures below are my 59 2 Door Galaxie 500.  The car has the 352 4bb and Cruise O Matic.  I'm just getting a start at bringing this one back to pristine condition, so if anyone knows where I can find stainless fender trim I would be very appreciative.  My baby has only 42,000 documented miles on her.  Isn't she gorgeous?
Very Gorgeous car Steve....they don't get nicer than this!

Tom shirley001@ameritech.net from Mchenry Illinois has this beauty for sale;

1959 Ford Fairlane/Galaxie 500, 2 Door Hardtop, 352 original engine, rebuilt to stock 300 miles ago. 3 speed, not restored. Purchased from original owner in Georgia. Asking price $5800
Nice car Tom, decently priced...................Good Luck!

Dave Phelan is the proud owner of this old flame. I could probably count all the Galaxies in this area on both hands says Dave. They certainly were very popular when new but the Maine winters have eliminated most of them. This car has only a few options, also. It has the 332 V8, Radio, Magic Air hearter, Wide White walls, style wheel covers, and backup lights. Thanks Dave for having the vision and ambition to bring the old girl back to life......she looks good!

John Rotella took a Greyhound to L.A. and drove this baby back to Auburn N.Y. It has a 352, Cruise-o-Matic, power steering and brakes and tinted glass. John is a self confessed '59 Ford nut, in fact he says there has never been a nicer automobile made. Gotta agree with ya John!

Chuck and Sara Murrymurry@bevcomm.net of Winnebago Minnesota have sold their treasured hardtop. We are looking forward to seeing their new red/white hardtop in the near future
