Here is a picture of my 59 custom 300. She has been affectionately named "Big Blue Car" by my children. When i bought her she had 75,000 original miles. One of her previous owners brought her to the east coast from the west and each successive owner has been replacing parts to get her back to original. As it stands she is more or less original with the exception of the paint and the radials. My plans include some parts from Clifford Performance for the old sixer and some more miles! |

John and Carol Ann Thomson of Nova Scotia own this car:
Our car is a 1959 Ford Custom 300, aka Betsy, recently painted and has had VERY minor body work done in her 43 years on the road. Betsy still has the original 223 cu.i. engine which has never been worked on and still runs excellent.

Richard Rector Redneck2@fidnet.comof Sullivan MO captured this low miler and plans to bring her back to her original grace;
I am the second owner of this '59 ford 2dr club sdn with 37,000 documented miles. The woman who bought it new had a tissue dispenser and a tailpipe dicolorization guard installed those are the only options no P/S P/B I still have two of the original tires still mounted on wheels it was garaged kept all its life as the woman got older her garage must have gotten smaller which explains the scrapes on the sides LOL. I am very proud of my car as I have been ford crazy since birth and I love the 50s the best, all those lines and chrome really catches the eye. It has been to four shows and brought home three awards two seconds and one first in unrestored classes not to bad for a set of tires and new water pump and carb. I had the seats redone not to original but nice. I am going for a true 50s custom lake pipes criuser skirts twin ant. spotlights hollywood hubcaps just a 50s custom. Hope this is good enough for your website.
Good Enough?...hey Richard, this is one great original car, ya just don't |
