This 1959 Ford Skyliner is the property of Randy Rostecki.  Another passionate '59 lover Randy is an expert on parts, part numbers and pretty well any other information that you would want to know about '59 Fords.

Thanks Randy for keeping this old girl alive and well!

1959 Meteor Montcalm

1959 Meteor Montcalm Sunliner

This is the second car from Australia that I have noticed w/red lenses in the back-up lites? Harold Hines mailto:tank@alpher.net.auof KingsCliff NSW Australia owns this VERY RARE machine; This car was built in Oakville, Canada and spent most of its life in the far northern Yellownknife NWT. She has been the lucky recipient of a restoration after I rescued her in '84 and gave her a "Scenic Pacific Cruise" before her makeover. She now sports a triple carb 390 w/C-6. I need a rear quarter Montcalm script and hood badge if any Meteor owners out there can help out, it would be greatly appreciated. I am in regular contact with Tony Bible through your site and it has been an experience knowing what other people do. Thank You for the opportunity to display my car and Congratulations to you and your wife on an absolutely brilliant site!
Pleasure is all ours Hugh, Thanks for rescuing that Ol Girl and bringing her back to life. They just don't get any RARER than this kids.

Confused by the desription? don't be.....in the late fall of '59 Ford introduced the new Galaxie all the while keeping the Fairlane emblems on them. Why you say?......tooling costs would be horendous just for the sake of a couple small identification tags. See, ya learn something new everyday!......another sample from the Rick Lowe collection. Rick is putting this beauty up for sale, contact him at:mako@cytech.com.au
Good Luck Rick!.....hope she gets a good home.

Another one from theRick Lowe Collection. Ricks love affair for the 59's is quite obvious so I think its only fair that all his babies be enshrined on 59ford.com! He did what I did with mine on this one.........went all out and produced a brand new car. Lots of money, time and intestinal fortitude will do it. Having a very understanding wife also is crucial. Were lucky guys Rick. Beautiful machine.......Congratulations on a stunning collection!

John and Gloria Campbell glair@telus.net of Ladysmith B.C. own this cruiser.

WE PURCHASED IT FROM A FAMILY MEMBER ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO AND HAVE CONTINUED THE RESTORATION TO DATE. THE CAR IS ALL STOCK EXCEPT THE 390 ENGINE. WE HAVE THE #'S MATCHING 332 AND I HAD ANOTHER 332 WHICH TURNED INTO A 390 FOR PLAY. THE ORIGINAL ENGINE IS STILL IN EXCELLENT SHAPE. WE'VE JUST COMPETED INSTALLING A NEW STOCK RUG, ANTI WINDOW RATTLERS, VARIOUS RUBBERS,AND WIND LACE. THE CAR WAS ASSEMBLED IN SAN JOSE CA. AT THE START OF OCT.2001 WE TOOK OUR GRANDCHILDREN  TO DISNEYLAND IN IT. YOU MIGHT SAW THE CAR RETURNED TO IT'S ROOTS. IT'S DEFINETLY A HIWAY CRUISER!!!

Great lookin car guys!!!!!!
