Brad Langstonmailto:langb@westman.wave.cafrom Brandon sends us this story for his Dad;
This car was purchased new at Dominion Motors in Winnipeg by Norm and Hilda Langston for the grand price of $3639.00. It was fully retsored by Dad and my brother Lex in the early 90's and is now enjoyed by Norm and Hilda when making weekend trips to the cabin at Ditch Lake. The grandchildren enjoy taking it for the ocassional spin on our warm summer nites and get a kick out of driving this vehicle from their past. It truly is a headturner. ...
Nice Story Brad.....I'll bet Pops is proud!
UPDATE!
Since the first picture that my brother sent you , my Dad has gotten Alzheimers' so I felt I wanted to finish the wagon and drive it so that is what I have been doing this summer. I am planning on putting an electric wiper motor in it and discs on the front . I hope maybe I will be able to meet you at a show soon. Thanks …Lex Langston, Brandon,. Manitoba
Thanks Brad and Lex, for looking after Dad and his car............Great Story!..........

Kerry and Cathy Church from Down under in New Zealand are the proud owners of this Beach Patrol! Hi Linden, Im sorry it has taken me so long too send you some pics of my wagon but here they are!!! By the way your site just keeps on getting better and better. I bought this wagon about 2years ago as I had always wanted a 59 ford since my Dad owned one when I was 11 years old I am now 46 so its taken me a while but I finally got there, she was 1 family owned in California and has travelled 74,000 original miles. She is the original "Inca Gold" in colour, 332 ci, with ford-o-matic 2 speed trans. I have just fitted the original 750/14"wide whites to her and am over the moon with the way she looks and drives on these. She certainly gets the looks over here in New Zealand as there are only 2 other wagons that I know of in New Zealand and one of them is not currently on the road so this makes her a pretty rare vehicle over here. She is currently on show in our 50's & 60's car museum we have set up in a place called "Putaruru" which is in the North Island of New Zealand and she gets lots of looks and great comments. Linden just want to congratulate once again on your magic site it is just "AWESOME" Kind Regards Kerry ChurchThanks for the kind words Kerry........Beautiful car bud!

This 1959 Ford Ranchwagon is the property of Randy Rostecki. Randys father bought this car brand new in 1959 and Randy has kept it looking like the day it left the showroom. Another passionate '59 lover Randy is an expert on parts, part numbers and pretty well any other information that you would want to know about '59 Fords.
Thanks Randy for keeping this old girl alive and well!

Bob Schlenkrschlenk@afo.netof Oxford Conneticut has this nice story; I was surprised and delighted to find your site. I would be proud to have my car a part of the 59FORD.COM family. Here's my story. Mom & Dad treated themselves to a new car for their 10th anniversary, I was 8. Last year I drove it to their 50th. When I graduated high school in '68, my folks gave the car to me as a gift. At 66,000 miles she had blowby and rust. I had a rebuilt engine dropped in at Sears, two fiberglass front fenders and a paint job. I drove it through college and semi-retired it in 1973 at 133,000 miles. Since then there's been much rust repair, another paint job, "wood" restoration and numerous upgrades. The same Sears engine is still in it at 164,000. Since it is a wagon, it gets called upon to do wagon work every now and then. It's somewhere between a number 3 and 2, not perfect, but looks nice and is a lot of fun.
Great Story Bob.....Good Job and Thanks!
